Our story does not begin in 1945, when our company was founded by the Virtus Family...
It actually begins in the Bronze Age, which was for millennia the basic alloy for the manufacture of weapons and utensils that improved life.
Later, artisans began to produce bronze objects for decoration. Exclusive pieces to decorate the palaces and luxury residences of the royalty and nobility of those times.
The manufacturing technique we use, the main basis of our company, is the ancient way, and is called: SAND CASTING.
EXCLUSIVITY
It is remarkable to mention that the beauty of the pieces created following this process is precisely the unique character of all of them, since the SAND CASTING does not allow to create two pieces exactly the same.
In this way, we ensure that EXCLUSIVITY is guaranteed for the most demanding customers.
In the mid-20th century, the Virtus family founded their business based on their special knowledge of bronze production, getting their pieces to reach all markets and turning a previously exclusive item, in the hands of a few, into bronze pieces within everyone’s reach. They turned the Bronze to be Commercial.
The most important challenge was carried out by Blanca Villuendas Virtus, daughter of the founder of the factory. Her purpose and goal was to make bronze much more commercial, and in 1968 she became lead designer and Managing Director of Virtus 1945.
Later in 1989, with the Third Generation of the Virtus Family in the Company, they expanded their horizons to international markets, exporting their decorative pieces to the five continents.
