Amir Al-Farouqi: Of course. A few years ago, a collector in Istanbul commissioned me to design a private library inspired by Ottoman palaces. The most impressive piece was a bronze mantel clock with blue and gold enamel detailing, inherited from his grandfather. While installing it, we discovered an engraved inscription with a sultan’s name, suggesting it had once been part of a royal collection. We decided to design the entire room around this incredible history, creating a luxurious space that paid tribute to its past.

Amir Al-Farouqi: That was a truly special commission. A businessman in Shanghai wanted a piece that would represent power and success in his private office. Virtus designed and crafted an imposing bronze sculpture, approximately 70 cm tall and over 15 kg in weight. When he received it, he was so impressed that he redesigned the entire office layout to make the sculpture its focal point. For him, it was not just a decorative piece but a symbol of inspiration and status.
